Mark Sheppard, who plays Badger on Firefly, said recently “They’ll (the fans) finally get to see what a fan friendly convention is like. They really seem to treat the celebrities well and give them an opportunity to really interact with the fans which is what a lot of celebrities really want the chance to do at a convention.
One thing people rave about is that these conventions really give the celebrities a chance to relax and have a good time with the fans where other conventions rush you though with little interaction between fans and the celebrities. At Dragon*Con Mark Sheppard remarked how incredible it was for stars and fans to have the ability to interact in ways that have never been possible before. Conventions like these are great for the fans but also for the actors as well who get the chance to really reach out to the people who love their shows.Check back for more news and reports about this convention.
